The An Clar School of Irish Dance, taught by Lexa Hickey, TCRG, holds classes at Celtic Hall Monday and Tuesday nights.
Classes are available to children age 4 & up from beginner to championship level — and all students will have the opportunity to compete at the local, regional, national & international level.
Along with competition, all students will also be given the opportunity to perform.
The goal of the An Clár School of Irish Dance is to promote fitness, concentration and self-discipline. Most important, we want the students to have fun and meet new friends through the love of Irish dance.
The school opened in 2011 in Albany, followed by Byram (Sussex County), NJ, in January 2012.
All classes are taught by Lexa Hickey, a registered member of An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha, Mid-Atlantic Region, & IDTANA (Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America)
