She brings a beautiful mix of music with her fiddle\, low whistle\, and songs that carry a bit of Ireland with them. \n\n\n\nShe has extensive live performance experience ranging from collaborative sound projects to choral production\, from musicals to Irish sean nós workshops\, from classical violin recitals to singing competitions\, from wedding gigs to playing in recording studios and venues performing solo/band gigs with vocals\, fiddle and guitar across Ireland\, South Florida\, upstate New York as well as New York City. \n\n\n\nShe has performed at venues such as the National Concert Hall and Liberty Hall Theatre (Dublin\, Ireland) as well as University Concert Hall and Lime Tree Theatre (Limerick\, Ireland). SUMMARY:Ishna “Slí Amach": from There to Here
DESCRIPTION:A joyous exploration of the music & stories of Ireland\n\n\nIshna is a Boston-based contemporary Irish folk band\, exploring the traditional repertoire of Ireland within the context of a global setting. It is fronted by husband-wife duo Ciaran Nagle and Tara Novak\, and has been together as this lineup of 6 musicians for more than a decade. Over that time\, the group has evolved\, honing in specifically on the acoustic traditional music of Ireland\, while finding ways to allow each band member to bring their unique musical vocabulary to the overall sound.\n \nTheir show\, “From There to Here”\, features the music from their debut album\, “Slí Amach: Way Out”. The album was recorded over a week in 2025\, in a barn in Peterborough NH. It was recorded\, mixed\, and mastered by Oscar-and-Grammy-winning Robert L. Smith at Defy Recordings\, and the artwork was designed by the legendary Steve Averill (creator of all the logos and artwork for U2).\n\nIshna is fronted by Irish Tenor Ciarán Nagle and fiddler/vocalist Tara Novak (both of Riverdance and the Three Irish Tenors). The husband-and-wife duo bring their humor and dynamic energy to the stage\, and are accompanied by their stellar band of traditional musicians: Dan Meyers: uilleann pipes/whistles; Bjorn Wennas – guitar; David McGrory – piano/accordion/banjo; Brian O’Neill – bodhrán/percussion.\n\nIshna’s performance is energetic and uplifting\, infusing new rhythms and harmonies into their traditional repertoire. For Ishna\, music is about finding common connections. They invite the audience into the fold of their community and to experience the beloved music of Ireland in a new way.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in welcoming Isabel Oliart and Sammy Wetstein to Celtic Hall for an evening of traditional Irish music. \n\n\n\nIsabel Oliart is a fiddler from Boston and has been playing the violin since she was 3 years old. Isabel is the current U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion of 2025 and has competed in Scottish fiddle competitions many times in the US. She began her musical journey with classical music\, and then discovered Scottish and Celtic fiddling through Brian O’Donovan’s show\, A Christmas Celtic Sojourn\, where she was inspired by artists including Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Hass. She now pursues a career in both classical music and Celtic fiddling. Primarily a Scottish fiddler\, Isabel also has a love for the fiddle music of Ireland\, Cape-Breton\, as well as Contra dance music. Read more. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSammy Wetstein is a multi-instrumentalist fluent in playing accordion\, guitar\, mandolin\, bass\, violin\, and viola\, he has appeared at venues such as the Newport Folk Festival\, Grey Fox Bluegrass festival\, the Metropolitan Museum of Art\, the Berklee College of Music Convocation\, the Library of Congress\, and the annual International Bluegrass Music Association festival. He has served as faculty at Maine Fiddle Camp\, The Swannanoa Gathering\, The Ashokan Center\, Fiddle Hell\, and the IBMA Kids on Bluegrass Program.
